Chicago School, Also using iPads

Chicago is using iPads very similarly to how BHS is using them. They are using them to eventually get rid of textbooks which BHS is trying to do as well. In Chicago they are using the ipads by downloading apps that help them in class, just like at BHS.

College's can now see our 'Chatter'

By chatter I mean all public social networking things that students post. Last year the amount that colleges looked at sites like Facebook and Twitter quadrupled. The reason they are looking at sites like these is because this is were kids will post their most truthful opinions and interests. I don't like the idea of colleges looking at these sites because even though it does have the realest information about the student, these sites are places were colleges could see the bad side of students.

So far this class has been very unique, but it has been interesting and fun. In the class we have been working on a video about how most classes are outdated.
